The Bookends

It’s that time of the year again! The summer heat is wearing off, the planes are coming back in, and the city is abuzz with Freshmen gearing up for Orientation 2011. And so it is with great pleasure that we announce that the Bookends club will be back for yet another literary year!

As your directors, Amina and I, are planning a great year filled with club meetings and movie nights to come. Please continue to check our blog and your email inbox through the first week of school, and we will let you know when we have finalized the first meeting. I hope to see you all there.

Hello there Bookenders!

So, the votes for the doodle are in, and you’ve picked (almost unanimously) to have the meeting after the Reading Break. So, that’s that.

Since the meeting will be held so late in the month, we’re going to go ahead and vote for the book now, so you guys can get reading.
